Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Las Vegas, NV)

Greenridge Ember Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
