Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Las Vegas, NV)

Cedar Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
