Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Cross Facilities and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 844 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for supply orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
