Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ivory Facilities Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for cleaning schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
