Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Jacksonville, FL)

Lumen Nest Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
