Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Jacksonville, FL)

Bluepeak Maple Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
