Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Jackson, MS)

Stonegate Cross Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
