Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Indianapolis, IN)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Indianapolis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
