Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Houston, TX)

Silverline Ivory Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Houston. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
