Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Houston, TX)

Bluepeak Drift Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
