Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Houston plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
