Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Houston, TX)

Fernwood Rowan Inspection Services is an inspection company in Houston with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
