Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Nova Umber Foods Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
