Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Hartford, CT)

Stonegate Rowan Foods is a Hartford food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
