Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Hartford, CT)

Summit Wren Foods is a Hartford food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
