Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Hartford area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 561 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
