Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Linden Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
