Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Fresno, CA)

Bright Harbor Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Fresno design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
