Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate Cross Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
