Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Pine Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
