Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Wren Environmental Services Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
