Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Denver, CO)

Summit Hollow Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 914 people based in Denver. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
