Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Denver, CO)

Bluepeak Drift Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Denver plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 828 people based in Denver. What you will do • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
