Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Dallas, TX)

Stonegate Union Foods Group is a Dallas food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 880 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
