Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Harborlight River Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
