Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Columbus, OH)

Redstone Keystone Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Columbus with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
