Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Colorado Springs, CO)

Harborlight Fern Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Colorado Springs, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
