Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Cleveland, OH)

Bright Summit Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 711 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
