Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Cincinnati, OH)

Amberfield Keystone Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Cincinnati. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 732 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
