Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Cincinnati, OH)

Bluepeak Iron Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 140 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
