Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Clear Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 68 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
