Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Birch Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Chicago region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
