Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Summit Sable Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 69 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
