Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Northwind Wren Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 186 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
