Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Orchard Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
