Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Cedar Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
