Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Fern Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
