Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Buffalo, NY)

Westbrook Birch Energy Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
