Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Rook Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Buffalo and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
