Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Buffalo, NY)

Foxglove Field Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Buffalo and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
