Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Buffalo, NY)

Clearpath Drift Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
