Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Buffalo, NY)

Fernwood North Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
