Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Juniper Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Boston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Boston. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
