Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Meridian Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Boston. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
