Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Boston, MA)

Bright Clear Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Boston region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Boston. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
