Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Boston, MA)

Silverline Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Boston design routes and schedules. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
