Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Baltimore, MD)

Stonegate Iron Construction Group is a Baltimore contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
