Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Austin, TX)

Amberfield Foods Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 211 people based in Austin. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
