Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Atlanta, GA)

Fernwood Summit Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Atlanta region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 141 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
