Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing makes precision components in Anchorage, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
